The Google Cloud Fundamentals course provides a comprehensive introduction to Google Cloud products and services through lectures and hands-on labs. It is designed to help participants understand the value of Google Cloud and integrate cloud-based solutions into their business strategies.

By the end of this course, leaner will be able to:

  • Define how infrastructure is organized and controlled in Google Cloud.
  • Explain how to create basic infrastructure in Google Cloud.
  • Select and use Google Cloud storage options.
  • Describe the purpose and value of Google Kubernetes Engine.
  • Identify the use cases for serverless Google Cloud services.

Prerequisites

  • Basic experience with IT or software development.
  • Basic familiarity with programming or scripting.
  • Basic command line proficiency (CLI).
  • Basic understanding of cloud concepts (IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS) (nice to have).
  • Basic networking knowledge (IP addresses, DNS, and firewalls) (nice to have).
  • Basic understanding of virtualization (virtual machines and containers) (nice to have).
