Overview
The HPE 3PAR StoreServ course is designed to provide participants with comprehensive knowledge of HPE 3PAR storage systems. This course focuses on helping participants efficiently manage day-to-day tasks, implement best practices, and utilize the most effective provisioning strategies within HPE 3PAR arrays. It covers both GUI (StoreServ Management Console) and CLI-based operations to ensure optimal data management and performance.
Objectives
By the end of this course, leaner will be able to:
- Understand the architecture and hardware components of HPE 3PAR StoreServ arrays.
- Efficiently manage and provision storage using the StoreServ Management Console (SSMC) and CLI.
- Implement thin provisioning, deduplication, and compression for better storage efficiency.
- Configure hosts, export virtual volumes, and manage VLUNs.
- Learn to create, manage, and restore snapshots and clones for data protection.
Prerequisites
- Basic knowledge of general storage concepts (RAID, Fibre Channel).
- Familiarity with Windows operating system functionality.
- Prior experience in using storage management tools.
- Understanding of provisioning techniques and storage allocation strategies.
- Knowledge of thin provisioning, deduplication, and compression concepts.
