Overview
The Veritas Enterprise Vault 14.1: Administration course is a five-day, instructor-led training designed for system administrators. This course provides comprehensive coverage of Enterprise Vault’s functionality, operations, and features, including deployment, configuration, integration, and performance monitoring. It includes practical hands-on exercises to help participants manage, monitor, and maintain Enterprise Vault efficiently.
Objectives
By the end of this course, leaner will be able to:
- Describe the purpose and benefits of Enterprise Vault.
- Navigate and manage the Enterprise Vault Administration Console.
- Configure and maintain mailbox archives and client settings.
- Manage PST file migrations.
- Monitor and manage Enterprise Vault storage, retention, and deletion.
- Work with the Veritas Information Classifier.
Prerequisites
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server 2016 with system administration experience.
- Basic familiarity with Microsoft Exchange and Outlook.
- Understanding of Microsoft SQL Server as a power user or administrator.
- Experience with Active Directory.
- Knowledge of basic data protection and security practices.
