Overview
The Veritas InfoScale Availability 8.0 for UNIX/Linux: Administration course equips IT professionals with the necessary skills to install, configure, deploy, and maintain Veritas Cluster Server (VCS) clusters. It covers managing high availability environments, applications, and databases, as well as deploying InfoScale Availability in cloud environments. Hands-on labs allow practical application of cluster design and deployment.
Objectives
By the end of this course, leaner will be able to:
- Provide an overview of the InfoScale product suite and InfoScale support for cloud environments.
- Create and configure clusters, service groups, and resources.
- Perform common administrative cluster operations.
- Configure notifications and triggers to customize VCS behavior in response to events.
- Manage applications and databases in a VCS environment.
- Explain InfoScale support for containers and Kubernetes.
- Set up cluster configurations using shared storage for CFS clusters.
Prerequisites
- Knowledge of UNIX/Linux systems administration.
