Overview
The Veritas Resiliency Platform 3.6: Administration course equips IT professionals with the knowledge and skills necessary to design, deploy, and maintain the Veritas Resiliency Platform across enterprise data centers and multi-cloud environments. This course includes hands-on demonstrations, practical labs, and theoretical lessons, ensuring that participants gain a deep understanding of disaster recovery, data protection, and cloud integration using Veritas technologies.
Objectives
By the end of this course, leaner will be able to:
- Deploy and configure Veritas Resiliency Platform components, including Data Mover gateways and Infrastructure Management Servers.
- Integrate Veritas Resiliency Platform with NetBackup, InfoScale, and cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, and vCloud for comprehensive disaster recovery.
- Perform disaster recovery operations for VMs and applications, including rehearsal testing and recovery automation.
- Manage and apply service objectives, resiliency plans, and Virtual Business Services for enhanced operational efficiency.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues using logs, diagnostic tools, and the Resiliency Platform APIs.
Prerequisites
- A solid understanding of data center operations and architecture.
- Experience with storage replication technologies and disaster recovery operations.
- Knowledge of virtualization technologies, particularly VMware and Hyper-V.
- Familiarity with cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, and vCloud.
- Proficiency in Linux and Windows operating systems.
