Overview
The Red Hat Virtualization (RH318) course equips Linux system administrators, virtualization administrators, and hybrid infrastructure engineers with the necessary skills to deploy, configure, manage, and migrate virtual environments using Red Hat Virtualization. Through extensive hands-on exercises, participants will gain proficiency in deploying and managing Red Hat Virtualization infrastructure, preparing them for the Red Hat Certified Specialist in Virtualization exam.
Objectives

- Deploy and configure a Red Hat Virtualization infrastructure.
- Manage networking and storage solutions within the Red Hat Virtualization environment.
- Provision, manage, and migrate virtual machines using Red Hat Virtualization.

- Automate the deployment of virtual machines using templates and cloud-init.
Prerequisites
- Achieved Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) certification or possess equivalent experience.
- A solid understanding of Linux system administration.
- Experience with virtualization technologies, preferably with Red Hat Virtualization or similar platforms.
- Familiarity with command-line interfaces and basic scripting.
- Knowledge of network and storage configurations.

- Understanding the architecture and purpose of Red Hat Virtualization.
- Installing a minimal Red Hat Virtualization environment and creating virtual machines.
- Organizing hypervisors into datacenters and clusters for efficient management.
- Configuring user accounts and roles using central directory services and assigning resource access.
- Adding and managing physical hosts, networks, and storage within Red Hat Virtualization.
